Rusty is weird. Nobody really likes him. He seems to be a mystery to everyone, so we do what we can to TRY to make him normal. We have ended up making the "Rusty Olympics" so he has time to do his silly stuff. one event is taking a step toward the bathroom and watch him bolt to the tub begging for water. Or, taking a step to the laundy room makes him bolt to the food. Likewise for taking steps to the doors. Sometimes, he gets so lonely that he bashes his head (wit a lot of little rusty force!) into your leg, tying to scratch his face, or whatever cats want to do when they rub their face on a corner of the wall.
Rusty spends his free time sleeping, going in and out the door every 5 seconds, and part of the time consuming edibles. Rusty drinks out of the tub. ONLY water that has a constant stream (smaller than a pencil's diameter), and cannot drink out of any other water source. Even if he was starving of dehydration... He can only eat out of a bowl that has Costco brand food. if the bag of food was right there, he wouldn't even think of eating from it!
